IDEAL combine wins Platinum A’ Design Award
DULUTH, GA – AGCO (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and solutions, announces today that its most recently launched combine harvester, IDEAL, won the 2018-2019 Platinum A’ Design Award for outstanding design. An international jury awarded AGCO’s IDEAL Combine the highest honor in the Agriculture, Horticulture and Fisheries category. “IDEAL represents the first clean-sheet combine design in 30 years. AGCO’s global team designed, tested and produces a combine to meet our customers’ needs and varied harvest conditions across the globe. The result is a pioneering combine that delivers innovation, quality, automation and higher returns for farmers” said Barry O’Shea, Vice President, Global Product Line Manager. The A’ Design Award is the largest international design competition featuring 98 design categories, including architecture, furniture, graphics and vehicle design.
